Workshop-description:

A literary workshop that sets writing in motion and, through its interaction with space, nature, and new media, leads to fresh, creative paths. The workshop focuses on unconventional writing techniques and methods that spark creative processes and allow texts to emerge from unexpected perspectives. Writing is understood here as an open, playful process in which stories are allowed to unfold and language comes alive. Through practical exercises, discussion, and collaborative experimentation, texts emerge that sharpen one’s own literary expression.

Literature is meant to be discovered—accordingly, parts of the workshop will take place outdoors, depending on the weather. Walks and writing sessions in the Pöllau area become part of the creative process. The workshop deliberately works with crossing boundaries and approaches concrete poetry and visualized literature with ease and joy: "Everything can be text.”

A key focus is on literature in public spaces and at the intersection of language and visualization. Texts are not only written but also conceived spatially and made visible. With the help of augmented reality, the literary works are visualized and implemented in public spaces on the final day.
