Registration
Registration for one of the Styrian Summer Art events/courses (workshops, studio classes, symposia, excursions, field trips) can be made in writing, via the website using the form provided, by e-mail or by telephone.
The registration is made by the registrant and is also binding for all other participants. The contract is concluded upon acceptance by the ‘Styrian Summer Art’ association (hereinafter referred to as the association) and by sending a booking confirmation.
After receipt of the booking confirmation (by e-mail or post), the course fee is due and, unless otherwise stated, must be paid within 14 days - in the case of last-minute registrations, however, no later than the day before the start of the course - to the bank account stated above.

You will find the course times in the respective description, these usually include an approx. 1.5-hour lunch break (or breaks are agreed during the course).
Registration deadline
(does not apply to Slow Trips)In principle, registrations can be made up to two weeks before the start of the course, unless otherwise stated, as long as places are available. If a course is fully booked, a waiting list will be created or a replacement course can be freely chosen or the booking can be cancelled free of charge.
Force majeure
If the workshop is cancelled by force majeure at the beginning or in the middle of the course, the workshop fee will be refunded pro rata to the duration of the cancelled units. No further claims can be made against Styrian Summer Art. If the workshop leader cancels due to illness, we will endeavour to organise a qualified replacement artist. In this case, your registration remains valid.
Should a postponement become necessary, we will refund the workshop fees already paid in the event that the participants are unable to attend for scheduling reasons; otherwise the registration remains valid if there is no objection. No further claims can be made against the association.
Cancellation conditions
The participant acknowledges that the contracts concluded with Styrian Summer Art are contracts for ‘leisure services’ within the meaning of § 5c para. 4 no. 2 of the Consumer Protection Act (KSchG). There is no right of cancellation, even if the contract is concluded at a distance (e-mail, internet, telephone, etc.).
Should you nevertheless withdraw from the contract, the following cancellation conditions apply, unless otherwise stated in the specific contract:
Cancellations on your part must be made in writing. However, a replacement for the registered participant is possible at any time and no cancellation fee need be paid by Styrian Summer Art.
Otherwise the following applies:
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start of the workshop: free of charge. Cancellation fee after this period is 55% of the workshop fee (does not apply to Slow Trips). In case of no-show, the entire amount will be retained.
The cancellation of any travel activities and accommodation booked by you and any resulting cancellation costs must be made or paid by you. If you cancel the workshop prematurely, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entire workshop fee or a pro rata amount, nor for any travel and accommodation costs.
