Workshop description:

During these three days, we will enjoy the diverse world of theatre and focus on improvisation as well as dealing with theatre literature on stage. We will work on a scene, slip into different roles and learn how to spontaneously enter into the humour of improvisational theatre. how can I best use my skills for the stage (of life)? How can I feel free when acting and overcome shyness? How can I bring a scene or story to the stage full of suspense? body and voice, senses and perception, flexibility and courage, spontaneity and precision are playfully explored, trained and made fit for the stage. Learning to fail with laughter leads to freedom in playful action, and we train the imagination and joyful, free play in mindful physical exercises, fun group games and exciting stage tasks. Suitable for beginners and advanced students.

Please bring with you:

Comfortable clothes in which you can move well, water bottle, yoga mat and blanket for body and vocal exercises, writing materials for notes

Alice Mortsch is an actress, director and trainer, creator in theatrical and social fields and a lover of fantasy from Vienna.

She trained at the Krauss Acting School, studied education at the University of Vienna, worked as an actor and director in Germany and Austria, director of the DELÜX theatre, assistant director of the Kleine Bühnenboden chamber theatre, trainer for improvisation/personality development/performance/presence/body language, lecturer at the Vienna Acting School and the Performing Arts Studio.
