Workshop-Description:
In this workshop, we will set out to explore our own languages and discover the forms and variations in which we can weave them into poetry and short prose. Together, we will immerse ourselves in the worlds of visual and sound poetry, explore linguistic atoms, molecules and universes, and learn a wide variety of writing techniques.
A balanced mix of a reading circle and independent writing ensures a balance of inspiration, discussion and creation. At the end of the workshop, there will be a reading of the texts produced (participation is optional). This workshop is aimed at people (aged 14 and over) with or without prior experience of creative writing.
Multilingualism in the traditional sense is not a prerequisite. This workshop regards all forms of linguistic variation (dialects, standard languages, sounds, gestures, etc.) as (lyrical) linguistic tools.
A sound knowledge of German (level B2) and a basic knowledge of English (level B1) are an advantage.
