Beginners, advanced learners

Workshop-Beschreibung:
Weather permitting, we will paint with oil paints, just as the Impressionists did, capturing the landscape and the diverse subjects of the beautiful town of Pöllau—its architecture, nature, and the expansive castle grounds with their vibrant colors. If you have specific subject requests or in case of bad weather, we can work from high-quality reference photos and a welcoming, magnificent still life set up in the classroom.
Topics will include materials, proper composition and structure of images, color mixing, and figurative interpretation with varying degrees of abstraction. Abstract acrylic paintings can be complemented and expanded upon with figurative, realistic painting.
This small, intimate course allows for many individual preferences regarding painting methods, choice of subject matter, and the expressive style of each participant.
