An OSTBOX! will be set up in each of the 7 municipalities (Fürstenfeld, Weiz, Dechantskirchen, Birkfeld, Hartberg, Pöllau and St. Margarethen), which will be used by young adults aged 15-30 as a workshop space, painting or presentation area.
They will film, paint, design and much more. The results are then presented in, on or around the OSTBOX! in the communities. Two workshops will be held in each municipality and at the end of the project in October 2014, all of the designed OSTBOXES will be united into one work of art and officially opened in Weiz:
The young people not only have the opportunity to learn something new and be creative, but also come into close contact with various politicians and can finally give them a piece of their mind! The content of the workshops such as poetry slam, food design, photography, video shooting and much more (see below) are linked to socio-political issues in the region and worked on.
All workshops are free, but not for nothing! You don't need any special prior knowledge and can spend a day working with a real artist. And the politician will also take part in the workshop!
The results will be presented to the public after the workshops in the OSTBOX of the respective municipality.
