Catrin Manoli

graduated from the sculpture and painting masterclasses at the Ortweinschule in Graz, studied experimental art in Linz with Anna Jermolaewa and at the HGB in Leipzig in the painting class with Franziska Reinbothe.

Catrin Manoli develops her artistic work with a great deal of humour and expertise in activist practices. ‘Always in the front row in the mosh pit, with my significant one metre fifty, I make a radical statement against right-wing and colonialist structures.’

Works for the Artmachine:

Edition 10 / 2025 Location Pöllau

Title:  Sleeping Flys
Category: Konzeptkunst
Desvription: Cyanotopias or insects preserved in epoxy resin
In my works, dead animals are in the prime of their no longer active lives.
Preserved dead animals visualise a horror show of confrontation that denounces speciesism and the transience of human animals.
