Spring hike - sketching and walking at donkey's pace

A Drawing Journey to the Most Beautiful Places Around Pöllau
with Jana Grabner, Carmen Dreier-Zwetti, and their two donkeys

On our donkey hike through the Pöllau Valley Nature Park, we’ll visit special places and capture their beauty through drawing. Guided by Carmen’s gentle donkeys, we move at a relaxed pace through the picturesque landscape – including the castle park, gardens, and encounters with animals and people. At selected spots, we’ll pause to record our impressions in quick sketches and small watercolors.

Jana Grabner, a talented artist and children’s book author, will offer tips on drawing techniques and share insights into current trends such as urban sketching.

The sketchbook has always been an essential companion for artists to capture impressions and ideas. We warmly invite you to join us, find inspiration, and connect with your own creativity.

Please bring:
A sketchbook of your choice, drawing pencil (graphite or charcoal), optional coloring materials (colored pencils, watercolor paints), brushes, sharpener & eraser.
A seat pad, sun protection, and snacks (a stop at a Buschenschank – a local wine tavern – is planned).
